About Willow Tree Psychology

Willow Tree Psychology is an independent psychology service that specialises in eating disorder treatment and expert witness work. It is run by Dr Sonia Bues (Consultant Clinical Psychologist) and has been running since 2017.

I am a chartered clinical psychologist with over 17 years’ experience of working in the NHS in a variety of settings. Click here for more information about me.

I have a special interest in eating disorders and I am experienced in treating all kinds of eating disorders (anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, atypical eating disorders). I have completed certification in family-based treatment (click here for more information or here to find out what certification entails).

I am particularly interested in offering family-based therapy to families who might otherwise not have access to this type of treatment via telehealth (Zoom). I am fluent in German and have experience of working with families in German speaking countries. I offer a flexible approach tailored to your needs. Contact me to further discuss your requirements.

Please note that I cannot consult with families who are registered with a GP in Oxfordshire and where the patient is under 18. I can work with individuals in Oxfordshire if they are over 18.

I can work with individuals of all ages UK and worldwide (but not USA and Canada).

I further specialise in providing expert witness work for the family court.
